Questions about the podcast player widget

Which feeds work?

Any public podcast RSS feed with audio files, which is what podcast hosts publish. Titles, artwork, summaries and durations are read from the feed.

Are the audio files stored on GrowthTools?

No. Audio plays from the address in your feed, so your hosting provider keeps the files.

Can I use the player without a feed?

Yes. Add episodes by hand with a title, an audio file URL, artwork and a short summary.

How often are new episodes shown?

The feed is checked at most once an hour, so new episodes appear after the next check.

Does the player work on phones?

Yes. It adapts to the width of the space it sits in, so it fits phones, tablets and narrow sidebars.
